Author: robert (Romania), 15-07-2020 17:00 Amazing map - Coming Home the puzzle i searched online, but the rest of the game was perferrctly balanced for hard, 40 vampires joined my army wich made every battle against mages and dungeon creatures a walk in the park because i only used them(removed rest of the army) in combat so no loses, but undead balaced in out cuz they cant lifesteal from them and the fact that you lose the army at the end of the game is such a good idea, to balance you and the enemy so you're not op, alwough the treants we re kind of to strong only lost 5, 10/10 map

So the left from 1 to 5 (bottom is 1)
from the right 6 to 10
From init, tough the light in this sequence.
1 2 3 5 then 10 (last top right)
The issue will be resolved.
Author: Franzy, 20-07-2007 10:49 2Morgenstjerne Try more recent map version (1.10). As too many people complained they could not solve the puzzle, I decided to add an alternative way to "solve" it. Starting from version 1.10 player is able to "buy" solution for the puzzle from its creator (not me, ingame character:)) who lives somewhere underground. In this version the balance is also tuned and a few nice features were added.

you take. Avoid battles with very dangerous monsters, such
as Pit Lords, Water Elementals, etc. Map is designed in the way that
no such monsters can block your way along the main quest line. As for
the first real battle - the elven garrison - one should prepare as
better as possible. By completing side quests (especially the
"perfect flavour" :)), opening treasure chests and fighting neutral
armies one should be able to make about 10-15 levels. Veteran hero can
pass the garrison with minimal losses. Scroll of Ressurection, that
can be found nearby, also helps greatly :)
As for the strong enemies... You can always return later, when you have more exp and troops.
P.S. Don't blame mapmaker if YOU can't win. I've got a bunch of players who enjoyed my map because it's not a sandbox, but a map that requires a lot of tactical thinking.
