Follow the Adventures of Ellessar The Elven Druid, in a world of Halflings and humans, wipeout all Resistance, but you can not loose your hero Ellessar. Your heroes will be limited to level 30, ( I think thats enough )

Unfortunately for a game of this age, it's just not what I think most people are looking for. It's extremely easy, even on Impossible. You have an ally that is actually probably better set up than you or any of the enemies. In fact, my ally was according to the Thieves guild the strongest army by the end of Month 1, and stayed that way throughout the game as I didn't need much of an army myself to walk all over the map.
Town Portal and Dimension Door are banned, but the map is kind of linear so they aren't really needed for defensive purposes. It does make it annoying to grow your army though as you have to have a VERY long chain of heroes to do so. I ended up gathering about 100 grand elves, and various other ranged guys here and there, and just blew through the entire map with them.
One of the more annoying things, in addition to not needing the help, is your ally getting some of the cooler artifacts on the map and thus making them impossible for you to get.
One simple change I'd probably suggest making is changing the red team from an ally to an enemy. They have a one-way gate they can open when they're ready to attack you, and they're in very good position to do so. So making this change might be the easiest way to make it a more "competitive&qu ot; map that many of us are used to these days.
Anyways, beautiful map and a nice easy game if you're looking for it. But definitely not a challenge.
