As a child Wyngaal enjoyed the legend of Stonebreaker, a vessel which sailed on land. Years later, the adventurous elf and his fellowship are determined to find the missing ship!

Running with the mage while my hero pummels the footmen (2 per strike) and they pummel my warmachines is quite fun! I should have died twice but luckily morale triggered and the mage had 2 turns :-). All other creatures like 2 peasants, 1 bear rider and 1 hunter died while kicking some ass to 4 druids who were naturally split 1 by 1 to kick my ass with lightnings! I liked it!

I just started it all over again, thinking that EVERY fight would need to be flawless. And i took out the footmen in the beginning after killing the conscripts guarding the blacksmith.
Buying a ballista and getting War machines as a ability did the trick for me :)
After leaving the starting "island" the rest was a piece of cake.
Although a very good and challenging maps, I'd love to see more of theese ones!
A strong 8/10, with some story and scripting it would be a 9. With a more challenging fight in the end, a 10 ;)
Thanks!
Author: mapmaker, 23-10-2011 18:20 Hi Dennis, Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the map is hard in the very beginning (later it gets somewhat easier, especially when you get the hang of it). Each battle is a little puzzle. However, there is no definitive order. The key to victory are the creatures that join you.
The huts are decorative objects, yes.
I hate to say it, but I don't remember testing it with ToE... It was made before that.
Please try this version though, as it might be updated: http://www.celestial heavens.com/search2. php?map_name=stonebr eaker&author_name=&s ize=&nr_players=&pla ying_type=&version=& sort_by=map_name&ord er=asc&multiplayer=& month=&year=&minimap s=on&results1=20&pag e=1&action=search&su bmit=Search
Author: Dennis Weiler (Sweden), 23-10-2011 17:39 Like wtf.. hey man, im definetly not a novice in gameplay. but how do I kill all the monsters in my starting area? i have managed to kill everyone but the footmen guarding the rune priest, and probably the only place where I can use the vessel of shalassa?
do you have any strategies of what creature i should kill? i mean in what order?
and also, the peasant huts (both of them) arent working. are they supposed to?
i tried the game in ToE, shouldnt be any difference from HoF?
Author: mapmaker, 11-03-2009 06:59 Franzy, Thanks for the comment. I admit the map is unusual and strange, but I assure you it has been tested (with HoF) many times and is sure winnable. The trick is to pick your fights carefully and find joiners along the way.
Author: Franzy, 11-03-2009 00:07 This is pre-beta, not a map! Map is unfinished and unwinnable. It's version 0.8 beta at most, not 0.98 as it says! Don't bother downloading.
Yet the idea is promising. Looking forward for version 1.0
