Author: Lordi (Warszawa), 25-09-2014 19:13 THE BEST MAP The best map I have ever played ;)
Author: combatHim, 29-06-2014 02:39 Excellent map! I play Homm4 very long time. It is too difficult to find good map. This is excellent map without mistakes (right hands will help you and Erlend). I played this map long time ago and forgot some features but one feature I remember yet... "Blind" scroll and "Teleport" scroll! Try to don't lose them because script tried to remove them. Some manipulations in bag lead to avoid their losing (I forgot how). Generally the main supporting goal consists in acquiring scrolls because one person - one mage school. The story exists in the map. Battles are very hard to the end of scenario. One small minus... Scripting battles annoy. At the first time scripting battle is the best way. But when I pass this point at the 386 time... after one, two, three months...
Thank you for the great map!
Author: Erlend (Norway), 07-11-2012 20:22 Such a shame! This could have been an excellent map, except for the fact that there are 2 fatal mistakes in it that makes it impossible to finish... First there's an event labelled "montain" that is supposed to remove a part of the underground mountain past the labyrinth, after a triggered combat event when you enter the underground below Purple Player's territory. Because of a bug in the game, this event will never trigger, making it impossible to finish the map. The second problem is that you need an artifact that is unobtainable. It's like this: You need to visit the last Gold Oracle to uncover the Archmage's Codex, which you need to swap for the Adamantine Armor, which you then need to pass a Quest Gate to get into the south eastern part of the underground. And you need to go there to visit the Red Keymaster, which in turn you need to access the last Gold Oracle! So you are effectively gridlocked, and cannot finish the map. That is such a shame, because the map itself is beautifully drawn, with a lot of good ideas! I love the way you start with just one peasant and work your way up the ranks. If only there had been done some proper quality assurance prior to releasing the map, I would have given it a top score!
