Author: meme (pimmelstadt), 23-07-2019 16:32 good map - Hearts of Chaos I feel obloged to point out the only the eye of osiris gave me more fun and a harder time then this.
Draconic and other highranked maps do try but they just rely on playing, finding out when and whee they spawn, That is not playing, that is testing.
A crappy map doesnt turn good because you spawn a lvl 40 hero at turn 10...
Author: meme (pimmelstadt), 23-07-2019 16:21 gimme da monies, I am an African Prince - Hearts of Chaos its 1 vs 4, but a very easy one sadly. The whoe balancing on this map relies on having a lot of enemies but the solution is like any other Heroes map: Get first 1, then later 2and more attacking armies while keeping your castles defended.
This map has anough money plundering (graveyard, that den withwolves/tigers, griffin defended money banks, monk defened ones, magi defended ones.) SO even on champion: just explore, exploit the money dens, avoid combat untill you have 10 mantices and 10 feary dragons (before the end of month 1) and you win. Just destroy all the random AI armies since they seem focuses on spreading their armies out in 10 armies the army power counter doesnt matter. As long as you have half their armies they have lost. Keep 10 lvl 4 in each castle and you have won. From now on its just a point and click game.
Nice looking map, good portal paths, good trigger from one stage to another, but seriously: why do people make maps that rely on AI being tactical? With all the updates im surprised the AI didnt get an update, instead: more artifacts...? WTF, scra your artifact, just design a proper AI. I volunteer to track my every action from turn 1 on any map if anyone wants to make better AI in a mod...I think with some decent players combined with decent modders this should be doable and should get us the "AI is now an actual foe" mod.
Because that is all this map needs. It is so beautifull and thewalking routes , the layering, it is such a shame that AI keeps doing stupid moves like split up its army into useless wandering forces.
