Rick is an orphan. He was adopted by a priest named Eden in a remote town called Shangri-La covered by snow year round. After hundreds of years of peaceful living, a huge disaster is suddenly brought upon this town by the noble dragons. Anyway, in their eyes, human beings are no different than bugs.
Some hunting trip that was! All but one of my faithful archers lost in an ill fated attack on a behemoth. Still, we have horses but they are weary and need a drink. It's a long way home.
