Fun map but a little buggy - Armageddon Blade - Heroes 7 map

Like the map. nice job. FYI finding it a little buggy. heroes disappear if you leave them in castle to defend. once they defend castle they are gone by next turn. could not recover hero by sending a second hero to prison to battle. you get to battle but you don't get the prisoner. had to battl more...

Использовал тот же метод с дирижаблем. Однако, синяя и зеленая палатки недоступны до 6.1.1 и установлены они для бирюзового. Только после этого его герои выходят из заточения. Мне пришлось специально гнать бирюзового к черной палатке, чтобы он ее открыл, а я получил доступ к дирижаблю.

Questions and Answers session with Ubisoft about Heroes 6

Heroes 6 Map Editor: Will you have the opportunity to construct the sizes of the Control Areas of towns and forts?

Yes

Can you convert Heroes 5 maps for Heroes 6?

No. There will be no such an opportunity. The engine of the game has different characteristics. The game code differs from the previous versions. Any conversion with the new traits from Heroes 6 will be disabling.

Is it probable to adjust a boss on a map by means of the map editor?

Yes, everybody can use a boss like any creature to a treasure.

What will the map editor like? What will the main peculiarities? Will be there "modules" similar to the Warcraft III editor?

The map editor will practice on triggers like in Warcraft 3. You will be able to design a map without ever inscribing an individual line of code.

Heroes 6 Mods

Will mod making be simple for Heroes 6?

It is our purpose.

How did you want to organize the mod creation? Will it be simpler than Heroes 5? We mean ability to import or modify 3D models, better file structure and so on.

At the beginning we desire the game to have an entry-level UI with the aim of activating or disactivating mods. Also Heroes 6 a lot "cleaner" in comparison with Heroes 5 when it comes to the structure of the file.

Heroes 6 Games Options

Will we be able to deactivate the active camera (for example the deal between a critical hit and the zoom on creatures)?

Yes.

Sheogh is called The Chaos and it possesses one thousand faces that are discovered very slowly by us. Creatures can exist I Heroes 6 but not in Heroes 5 and vice versa, though the creature is still being in the Ashan world. With the lapse of time some creatures are able to develop.

Can we expect any achievements?

Yes, of course. But more information will be allowed later.

Do you plan a beta-test for the next version? Will it be closed or open?

We cannot inform you about it just now.

Heroes 6 Technical Information

No, unrivalled buildings will only be wrecked when your town is being transformed.

The boost will influence everything. The player can select the creature he desires to purchase.

Will towns still have specialties?

Yes, of course.

Will there exist a Graal?

Yes, there will be the Tears of Asha.

Heroes 6 Adventure Map

Will creatures influence the replacement of a hero on the adventure map (as in Heroes 4)?

No, the hero will have the replacement importance and it will not be influenced by his army.

You mentioned that you wanted to keep the Heroes existence, though there was one among your first changes capable to diminish the resources (which make fans for a long period of time screaming). Why this very change? In what way the new system strongly influences our games?

Resources are not basic, they are functional. It is consequential to make a difference between the soul of the game on the one part (by turns, RPG element, field and town management) and on features on the other part (for example resources). We will give more explanations about this before long.

Giving one of the interviews on the Gamescom, Erwan recounted about scouting and spying your opponent. Should we understand it as getting a real war fog? If there is one, will we have a probability to influence the competitor's line of sight (as the Veil of Shroud in Heroes3)?

The condition of the war fog is static. Once displayed it will vanish. Artifacts, abilities and edifices can help you revealing it.

What can you say about Dragonblood mines? Are they really explained in such a way?

Yes. When the War of Ancients was continuing the Dragon Gods shed blood on the Ashan world making nexus of forces named Dragon Veins. The dwellers of Ashan have learned the method of extracting the blood, therefore the creation of mines.

Will external habitations of creatures be linked to a category or to a creature?

They will be linked to different categories such as elite, core, champion.

Heroes

Might & Magic: Heroes 6 screenshotIn what way will we able to customize heroes?

You can select the name of your hero, his sex, magic and might orientation. The classes of an advanced level will be contingent on abilities.

How will you equilibrate Might and Magic Heroes? In Heroes 5, might-oriented protagonist could slaughter one or two level seven per strike or at best a dozen level one whereas a more Magic-oriented protagonist could slaughter hundreds with a single charm.

The balance between protagonists will be inspected in-depths.

Can we get more information about the magic?

There will exist seven schools. The seven elements are Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Darkness, Primordial and Light Magic (connected with Urgash and Asha).

Will the skill system be similar to Kings Bounty (for instance a magic tree, a might tree and a jack-of-trade tree)?

There will exist a tree system like in Kings Bounty, but there will be many various trees. We will tell you more facts about this later.

After the observation of our total control on the development of heroes in what way will you escape all heroes being duplicates of each other? Will there take place so called "intermediate" skills to escape the "ideal template"?

Every hero will have a category with an unparalleled skill and every faction will not have the similar arduous to skills or to magic. Also every faction has a special ability.

Heroes 6 Fights

In the situation arena is bigger than its Heroes 5 duplicate, will it be the opportunity to have more than seven piles on the battlefield.

No.

What can you say about luck work and morale?

Morale will give you a supplementary action (or nothing in case morale is bad) and opportunity will give you maximal damage (or minimal in case luck is bad).

Will it be possible to put shooters in towers, but what is the result in case a tower is destroyed?

If a tower is demolished any stack inside will go under.

Will the weather influence an arena battle similar to slowing parts, influencing shooters or spells (fog, rain, and blizzard)?

Yes, it can take place, but it will be casual (it might or might not happen at all).

In what way the region change influence a battle? Will flooding cease a creature or only delay it?

Flooded squares cannot be crossed in any way. There will be a number of various effects founded on the type of arena.

Heroes 6 Creatures

What are the parameters of the greatest creatures belonging to a group?

Still two and two. Bosses will have the biggest size (for example they can be four and four).

Will ultimate creatures still have a use paralleled to their upgrade?

Upgrades have no options. They are only real possibility to improve powers characterized a basic creature. An upgraded creature also will have the abilities of the basic category.

As against group creatures, what is the number of neutral creatures?

We will not answer this question exactly but neutral creatures will take place. One of them is situated on the Gamescom T-shirts.

We have seen that five of the Necropolis creatures were simply using a square. What number of "Big creatures" will there exist per group?

The number depends on the peculiarities of the group otherwise it will be either two or three.

"I am Svetlana, Slava's aunt. I went away from my home to consecrate my life to Asha, the goddess of Death. I used to be a much loved person and named as Flower of the North, but this time people are afraid of me and call me Pariah, Necromancer or Heretic…"

The Griffin Dukes daughter Svetlana lived together with the load of being sole child, which her parents did not want. Her father was hoping for a son. When she was fifteen after her brother had his birthday Svetlana was isolated while he was called the throne heir. She was glad that things turned so and she left the home with the aim to study the world of Spirits, at the first time with the Angels then with the Magicians of the Seven Cities. She did well at her study and the Necromancer Aguirre got her mentor. Since she had not connected with her family she made up her mind to join the new born Cult of Asha, the spider goddess. She got the position of Aguirres assistant a woman of his right hand.

She went on travels through the Jade Sea islands together with her master to free Mother Namtaru, an influential avatar of the Spider Goddess. Aguirre was murdered in the expedition and Svetlana single-handed brought the creature backwards to the Silver Cities. All the Necromancers spoke about her as a legend. She had lack of time to get pleasure from her fame. Shortly after exultant come-back, she was named to help Pavel to cease a demonic invasion. Sadly, she came too late so could not save the brother. She got the regent of the Griffin Duchy until her nephew Pavel by name would be of enough age to reign.

Will the Blind Brothers and the Dragon Knights play a role in the campaign?

Yes, of course.

Is it right that the Ancients War was the war between Faceless and Angels?

Yes, entirely.

Why 4 hundred years before Heroes 5?

The plot after Dark Messiah is overlaid by Heroes Kingdoms. The writers desired to return to the past and describe the events that lead to Heroes 5.

re are a lot of differences in the battles. Flows will slowly rise during some battles, choosing another area. The players will be impressed by a variety of goals, killing units, defending objects. We prepared fights for bosses in the game. At the end of the demonstrative example we saw a tremendous blue water snake that attacked via a cut scene. The fans of course will like this version as the previous games Might and Magic Heroes. But now Ubisoft has not enough time for making the next Heroes of Might and Magic RPG.
