The story takes place in new continent Aalondor.
Megom - half robot, half golem tries to find his origin and place where he belongs. He find himself on a vast wasteland without memory of his past. Shana Rock, a fierce woman barbarian wants to help him and unite the tribes. But journey of Megom is far longer and he will face lot of troubles and heroes. For example Three Tree Organisation who wants to destroy him, or a necromancer vampire, who seaks for ultimate power. The plot is seen by every side of the confict so that the player can identify with one.

The campaign has 9 beautifully made map with exceptionall plot. You can control forces of Might, Nature, Order and Death.
The campain is very well balanced. It's avarage diff is advanced so if you play usually on advanced you should first try it on intermidiate.
Megom (and other autobots) have a Armageddon spell with him. Do not take it out. Assume that he has it "built-in". Sharing it with other heroes will cause a defeat.
Megom (and other autobots) has the ability of unlimitless mana points in some parts of the game. In early scenarious he don't have any mana, but that will change with time.
Develop Chaos Magic in Megom, though in early state he will be unable to cast spells, in later time he will have unlimitless mana points.
Sometime can occour an error and one of the heroes don't go over to the next map. Unfortunetally there's no explanation for that and simple solution. You should pass the previous map again.
Megom's Chronicles - review
In the Internet, there is a massive amount of HOMM fanmade materials, such as campaigns or maps. Unfortunately, most of those materials are of an average or simply low quality, and it is really difficult to find something worth our attention however there are some exceptions actually. In this review, I will try to find out if Megom's Chronicles made by Michal Krajewski are worth playing.
Megom's Chronicles is HOMM IV WoW campaign, it consists of nine maps. It's one of the longest campaigns I know. But in this particular case the quantiny of maps doesn't mean that their quality is low. The landscape presented in those maps is maybe not magnificent but good enough to let you enjoy the game. There are some locations which are unquestionably worth your attention, like - for example - the jungle from the 2nd map.
The campaign's plot is about a golem named Megom, who/which is found by female barbarian during the festival of life. Due to some mysterious reason Megom is being pursued by some druidic organization, however he doesn't even know why. Step by step, the plot is explaining the Megom's destiny and in general the plot is attempting to answer the question - what is the life? In advance I need to mention that in order to understand the whole plot you need to read it all carefully. The golem's story may not be as entertaining as the original HOMM IV campaigns stories, but it is still worth playing. In this case, skipping the plot equals a great loss of fun, because the main protagonist's story is keeping the right mood.
As for the matter of strategy and the solutions - in my opinion it is the best part of the campaign. Defeating enemies or completing quests is not an easy goal and it really forces the player to think. Scripts used in this campaign are original and they are showing how great potential the fourth part of HOMM saga has. Personally I was playing on the third difficulty setting and I don't recommend playing on the higher difficulty, because some of the scenarios will probably be impossible to accomplish.
Finally, the most important thing about this campaign - while playing it you can feel that you are affected by the 'one more turn syndrome'. It won't be easy to turn your computer off, because you constantly want to know what will happen next. So if you feel like discovering the interesting plot and play many strategic battles, Megom's Chronicles is just what you need.

Special Other: Many events and/or quests take place outside normal quest huts in placed events, usually in front of dwellings and such. This has one significant drawback, since these quests won’t appear in your quest log. My advice is to keep some paper and a pen. I am absolutely confident that you’ll need to write down notes along the way, as well as solve some of the puzzles. Please take the time to read the events, otherwise it’s quite possible to lose vital information.
The campaign is heavily scripted and at certain points it's possible to 'mess up' the scripts. Please try to avoid this, since it could make the individual maps malfunction, thus making you miss out on all the fun :-) Please enjoy.

GM Stealth will be nice to have on the later maps and Magic Resistance will be tough not to have,
so better pick that skill as well.
Lots of power-ups and treasure will be hidden from your normal vision,
behind trees and walls etc., use the cursor to search.
You will not be able to access everything you see. Much of the 'filling' is just to recreate some of
the atmosphere of the Planescape Setting. This goes for other heroes, towns, monsters, treasure etc.

Hint: If the battle is too unreasonable, it is because there is another way.
