Author: Jack Dane (Denmark), 04-09-2009 09:58 two out of five(three out of ten) Confusing scenery that probably makes for interesting multiplayer, but as a singleplayer map only leaves you with a headache. In other areas the scenery looks improbable and ugly - at some places it even looks as if the map isn't finished: abruptly cut shore-lines, inaccesible objects and even water-areas that aren't painted, or terrain-paint in places where it obviously shouldn't be - like little patches of snow in the desert and such.
Gameplay-wise it has great potential - I love the way crucial decisions tend to stack as you progress in you conquests. Often you'll find that two things need to be done but you'll only be able to deal with one and then sort of hope that the other won't get out of hand in the meantime - that's great and a hugh plus.
AI respons-time is awfull - just awfull. The game loses too much consistency when you have to sit and wait for the seven (computer-controlled ) players to take each their 5-minuttes turn. Life's too short, quite literally.
On a whole, and as it is posted, I'd give the map only 2 out of five and with a note that gameplywise, and if the author cleans it up and makes it all as tidy-looking as it would like to look - it could easily get four.

I liked the teleporter ring where a lot of useful resources and dwellings were, but I got rushed by the Haven player and eliminated (on Impossible albeit) in week five. To be fair that time is always the danger zone when playing on Impossible (a month later I could have fought him off), but suggests border guards could have been stronger.

Beste Helden: Rutger und Dougal mit level 29.
Die Ladezeiten koennen im ersten drittel sehr lang werden, aufgrund der engen Wege und der Karawanen blockiert sich die KI selbst.
Der Zauberspruch (magic spell) "unverzuegliche reise" evt. weglassen, dadurch werden manche border guards unnoetig.
Fuer meinen Geschmack sind die Beleuchtungseffekte zu viele und oft unpassend.
Vermissen tue ich 2-3 Sacrificial Altars.
Ansonsten eine gut gelungene Map und fehlerfrei.
Optisch ansprechend und klug aufgebaut.
Violett war der Endgegner.
Nichts fuer schwache Rechner.
