There is a lot of shitty maps that got attention. Only downside was that it was little bit too easy and the purple should be let loose sooner. Because I won the map way before.
Author: ceceron (Krakow, Poland), 08-01-2025 02:45 A smaller horseman - [HotA] The Four Horsemen - 2 - Pestilence After defeating the famous Famine I went after the Pestilence and it is again a very good map. However, it is based on the same idea and as such, compared to the outstanding predecessor it seems worse in almost all aspects:
1) it is smaller — therefore shorter and doesn't give the same relaxing vibe as you meet your opponents rather quickly;
2) fewer and less creative secret passages
Other than that, there are some minor complaints:
1) the beginning is too easy — as the teal color I just went through all the guards in my area without any losses. Almost all. the creatures joined me (I didn't have diplomacy). The map would be better if the guards were more aggressive. Especially near the start locations.
4) the Power of the Dragon Father is too easy to obtain especially when compared to the two big battles hidden in the events.

Thank you for the feedback. This map is brand new and famine had a few updates after release. I might touch up this map and upload some adjustments later.
Each map would be different in scale and size and tempo to give a feel for non orchestration or hiding the hand of the creator being to heavy.
In total there would be five maps - 4 horsemen and a final one. Of course it might be obvious already in the world who created the mess with the 4 horsemen. Anyway each maps creation takes such a long time for me. the third will not be done before 2032 i guess lol

Tavern hints are very helpful. Thanks for making this, look forward to the next one.

I liked it.
luckily you can berserk guerilla your way through this one quite easily. As long as you survive 1 battle turn ofc, flee, rebuy hero, repeat.
Diplo also helps once you get some sturdy dragons.
