I guess it goes without saying the map is supposed to be played on impossible setting. Otherwise the enemy won't hire extra heroes :)

But I guess you always play on impossible so shouldn't be a problem? more...

My bad - The First Circle - Heroes 3 map

The map file was correct, but I'd forgotten to activate spare heroes for them. Therefore the enemy doesn't hire more heroes if you manage to win them in battle without them escaping.

Such a tiny mistake causing such a major headache.

Go me.

You get TP when you really need it, which is during the mid/end-game invasion.

Pink hero with 1000 of each dragons is guarding it. You can either defeat it yourself taking some heavy penalties or alternatively you can take over all their castles in which case the hero is banished in 7 days and th more...

That is most weird, shouldn't happen.

In the original version there was the problem of enemy no longer recruiting more heroes - which apparently you didn't have. I fixed it in this version so that they can hire more... but weird enough, they don't...?

I have to take a look late more...

the days are a minor thing, you are supposed to win in day 1 (dig the grail in day 1 and the efreet sultan hero kill you and disappear)

Actually is easy to get around: use slider bar to split or move >32k stacks, it will work. If mapmaker decides to give them through event, it his problem.

And of course you can design strong enemies, with WoG, because creatures are given directly in battle, not before.

You are probably right, the mapmaker exploited the bug as a feature for this map. But it's still a bug, and a very annoying one indeed!

The game should handle millions of creatures in one slot flawlessly in every possible circumstance, as well as the according damage calculations.

Especially when playing with the necromancer or when fighting against a powerful final enemy this becomes important.

I have become a bit tired of the game already because of this. You cannot accumulate really large armies, and as a mapmaker you cannot design really strong final enemies.

Is there no mod somewhere that addresses this problem?

32k creatures bug
When there are more than 32k creatures in a single creature slot, often there occurs an overflow and the number becomes negative.

In this map the joining fairy dragons for example become -3000.

Anyone knows a way how to fix that?
