Author: Delfontes (USA), 09-01-2022 08:03 Like Great Map! - Stir in the South I played as stronghold and the infeno and undead NPC was very tough. I had Angels Wings in my start zone so I was able to fly around him and take cities etc. to barely beat him. Well balanced and tough fights. After that it was a very easy map though. No banned spells so I could do any tactic I wanted throughout, TP/DD/Berzerk/Rez etc. to mop up quickly.

Glad you enjoyed the map! In one of my playthroughs it was actually the inferno ai that got the angel wings, it was hell of a game. We were playing coop and it took combined forces to pin the enemy down and destroy him (we lost the entire army of the first player, so the second one can finish him).
Once you take blue or orange out, it's grinding out the rest :/

From the 3 maps you upped I like this one the most so far, I chose Castle and few months into the game I am being bullied by the guy in the far snowy north, had a really tough fight where I was attacked by a weaker hero and was like (is this NPC for real?) just to get jumped right after defeating him by another more powerful one, it was almost as if I was playing vs real player.

Insight - Stir in the South
So the first time I played it I played green, I wiped everything except Orange who somehow managed to stay in front of me all the time, he had more income and armies than me by the end, first he killed me and than I loaded a save a gathered more armies but couldn't find the damn main hero anywhere and I lost my patience.
I started the map again but this time I chose Teal and made sure Orange doesn't go nuts. I felt like on that side of the map Gold was easier to come by. I am almost at the end and none of the other players have more gold or armies than me.
So I guess what I am trying to say is, maybe the side of the map where Orange is is easier to play due to gold and maybe layout.
