I found the grail and built it in the town, then I find out that I must have all the dragon artifacts to visit the seer. So, I spend a month traveling to the start of the map and back, just to get 1 artifact. Then all the seer did was telling me I can’t build the grail if I want to continue. So now I would have to reload and do it all again..
To me that’s just bad map design. If traveling back and forth is necessary, add roads and monoliths or at the very least give access to town portal. Otherwise, you’re forcing the players to spend a lot of time doing nothing. This is especially annoying because the AI takes quite a lot of time on their turns. And, if building the grail means you can’t win the game, make it so you can’t build it. All you need to do is click one checkbox in the editor.
I appreciate the time that went into designing the map and writing the story, but that doesn’t matter if the map isn’t fun to play. Having to spend 2 months to get 1 artifact is not fun and in my case it means that I won’t be finishing the map.

Two of my troops die for one that I am able to hire. I wonder what the idea behind this was! Plague every 3 days is really not my idea of fun game. Going to download another map...

Dont give up,
you must try harder. I won it on heroic on second try. Develop your hero well, I suggest flaming tripl ballista. Beginning is hard, later on not so much.

* I didn't have problem with the map crashing, but I think I came upon another bug - when you approach to invade Blue's castle, treading on the spot before the garrison generates approx 200 archangels in the castle. The bug occures after you take over the castle - each time your hero passes through the same spot, same number of archangels generates over and over again, giving you insane quantities of archangels, which (if used) would make the game totally unbalanced.
