I know there is a complete Statue of Legions in a secret location and I know how to get there. However, the map suggests that the Statue and other artifacts near it are back-up copies for people who have messed up. Therefore, I'm led to think it is possible for the player to construct the Statue without reaching the secret location. So the question is: where is the Legs of Legion artifact? I've played through the map several times and cannot find it anywhere.

Hota nurfs Conflux in terms of troop power and cost. For example a Pyre in SoD is 10/10/10/10,000 and in Hota is 10/20/10/15,000. It makes a mega huge difference considering you are going up against AI armies that designed for SoD.

I played for Necromancer Prince Jasca. And stopped at 17th month when the last enemy is still alive.
I can't reach him sitting in Chrysallis town becauze it is on island and there's no path to the town - surrounded by mountains. And there's no hint how can I do this. Is it a bug?
Is there Fly or Dimension Door spell on this map?

Author: Alex (Moscow, Russia), 02-11-2016 13:16 Final Battle - The Lone Knight If you have some mistakes during your walkthrough this map, you'll feel them during the final battle.
The final boss is Lea de Wuz, a witch with 96-99 parameters for attach/defence/power /knowledge. She has "Power of the Dragon father" artifact, so you can't use 1-4th level magic on her stacks. You can improve your army only or use "Implosion" ; on her stacks.
To win her, you must gather huge stack of Power liches. You can find Dead Man's boots on the small island in Tan's region (Tower). Other artifacts you can get from the Queen.
By the 8th month she has:
500 enchanters, 25 Azure dragons, 50 Crystal dragons, 75 Rust dragons, 100 Faerie dragons; ~3600 Grand Elves and 630 Gold Dragons.
You can't use Berserk, Forgetfulness, Blind, Slow etc... Armor of the Damned is useless against her.
I messed up with "Power of the Dragon father" (sold a necklace), so I used "Angelic Alliance" + "Elexir of Life" + Black Orb + Sharpshooter Bow.
I have the following stacks for main hero: 4,5K power liches; 4,5L sharpshooters, 142 bone dragons, 1200 enchanters, 89 titans, 240 archdevils, 25 Azure Dragons.
Don't forget to fulfil all Seer's tasks to get big army of enchanters.
I used two heroes (Queen and Xeron) to win her. The Queen defeated her 25 Azure Dragons (one stack). Mission is complete for her.
Xeron (the main hero) firstly used "Haste", then "Imposions" ;.
The main idea is using Bone dragons on her Gold dragons and aged them. So, your army must defeat Gold dragons firstly. Don't forget about her enchanters, your power liches must defeat them on 1st step.
So, her stacks must be eliminated in the following way: enchanters - gold dragons - grand elves - other dragons.
Author: Alex (Moscow, Russia), 02-11-2016 12:41 Great Map - The Lone Knight You can see some advices how to play the map, but they are common ones.
I've just finished this map. 8 months, 492 rating, playing for Xeron (Inferno).
Here are some my advices which help you for battles (including final one).
1. The main hero must have Expert Earth, Air, Fire and Water magic.
The most usable magic during battles (for the map) are Regeneration, Haste, Berserk, Blind and Clone.
Berserk and Regeneration are extremely necessary to win against Red and Blue player.
2. Use the effective situation to blind huge enemy armies.
If all remain enemy stacks are blinded, you can use ArchDevils (or any rangers or other creatures with No retaliation ability) + other quick stack. Then use a combination of "ArchDevils strike + Blind + skip 2nd creature turn".
3. Do not sell the artifacts which can be combined in one powerful artifact!
I sold "Necklace of Dragonteeth", so I couldn't assemble "Dragon Power", that's why the final battle was hard for me.
4. Do not kill the big stack of creatures without purpose! I mean all 1K dragons defending elemental lords + other creatures defending light blue tents.
Use them to prepare for the final battle to get more q-ty of power liches.

First time i played it about 8 years ago :) Then i can't win because sold Bird of Perception :) Second time game just freze on tan's turn. I restarted map, and again tan everyting f.....up. Somehow Solmyr managed learn town portal. I think because i defeated one of elemental lord's and tan just hired him, and after that just learned from him with expert scholar. Fourth time everything was OK, played for Conflux. After that i decided to play for Necromancers. Playing as necromancer, at begining, is more dificult as others clans. But when you learn town portal, animate death, resurection and get first phoenix to yours army (for that you have firs turn in combat), you are unstopable! :) And now, after 8 years i played it again :) Again as Necromancer (because it's main story of this map). i played with Prince Jasca but think that to kill P.M Erdian you should have the orb of vulnerability, armor of the damm, bring firebirds in order to go first, then you can cast "forgetful ness"
to make Titans cannot shoot. move Firebird to block the town gate, remember to protect your Sharps because P.M Erdian can cast " teleport" to move Titans to your Sharps. Good luck

Author: Tony (Mtl), 27-12-2013 11:53 Very hard but awesome Finished it on impossible in 14 months. In the final battle I had 22k power leaches. Most of aggregate artifacts you only would assemble in the last few weeks. What I did not like is that in the first month you can get a guest who out powers you 1:10. The main struggle was before defeating the blue player - even though I got 80% of cities, I still had to hide and seek from him, so powerful he was.
This map is not for beginners (on impossible of course, who would play on easier levels?).

Not correct
If you played this map you would understand that at month 5 you might get theoretically 4 cities x 3 creature per week x 5 months x 4 weeks per month = 240 lvl 7 creatures. But in practice u would have less than that because u don't have 4 cities at day 1. Plus you're facing 2 enemy heroes at this point (week 5), red and blue, both are stronger than you.
What you should do is to get control of as many cities as possible, evading the battle with enemy tanks.

agree
Just finished the map, and have to agree that this map is not for beginners. Some battles and paths require some skills.
For example, as I asked, for the hero Styg, you have to find some way around him. If you move and acquire cities normally, there is no way you can defeat him "normally" . Either you have to hide and seek with him like Tony or some other way. I myself use the trick of hit and run. In particular, I lure him near some town. Then I use Phoenix + Armageddon with him :) Of course, the tavern is a must :|
Author: Aeris (China), 20-12-2012 22:27 To the new guy Hi, thanks for your praise, but I'm just far from the "greatest"
If played with Prince Jasca, the skeletons will be powerful enough to kill Thorgrim
If played with three others, I remember that I can have many sharpshooters and enchanters against him, especially that my ADPK skills are much higher than him, due to the angelic alliance, which makes it very easy
Just manage the hero's movements carefully and use every hero, including the four elemental lords' movements to the maximum
77 days are not the possibily fastest, as it can be surely done within 60 days.

Rehiring heroes on a single turn. - The Lone Knight
I think this map can be done in less than 28 days. Using a necromancer in this map generates so many skeletons that you can upgrade them to skeleton warriors, then sell them for gold and get so much gold you can disband your main heroes and hire more until your main heroes appear, with full movement points and spell points, so so can be used again. Has anyone heard of this method used before?
Author: the new guy, 20-12-2012 21:58 Great Map finally done in 5 months and 1 week, can hardly believe it can be done faster :). My god, that must have been a lot of work! Amazing! Great story, good challange, good build up, and epic end game! I had to play this map 2 times cuz i was a bit too reckless in the beginning with losing troops and not using the legion items efficiently. It's quite crucial u put multiple heroes to good use with them. Furthermore its important to organize ur items in a smart way. You'll be searching a lot between all the shit you gather. In the end I really got fed up with all the seer quests and items that were divided over 10 heroes. That is probable the only critical note i can make about this map. Too many items, it drove me nuts.. Nevertheless I fully enjoyed this map! 10/10

Author: Aeris Quamarine C. (China), 29-01-2011 13:19 To NIck Eh, in fact you must have one main hero, who visiting all schloars and have the best ADPK, in fact s/he is Prince, Adela, Xeron, Mutare, or some speciality hero likes sorcery. And then a secondary hero sweeping the ground, all four elemental lords like Ignissa, Erdamon can do it. And then Aryati(Gelu), Frondy(Dracon) must do something that needn't to be done by Main.
You can read it for an example:

Author: Nick (Seattle, USA), 29-01-2011 13:00 Seemingly impossible map Do you guys know where I can find some more tips on this map? I find it impossible to keep up with the AI and can't imagine how Aeris Aquamarine finished the map in 77 days. I feel like it would take longer than that just to move your hero to all the locations. With the AI getting a huge bonus in gold, resources, and creatures, I'm really struggling. Help!
- General rule: This map contains a fair amount of hidden trails, most of which are accessible by mere walking. Look carefully.
The same goes for elusive Seer's Huts that are easy to miss if you don't look carefully.
In particular watch closely for Seer's Huts that will grant you critical artifacts like:
Angelic Alliance, Bow of Elven Cherrywood, Pendant of Courage, and Orb of Vulnerability.
- Move fast. There's no telling when or where the AI's will come to attack you. But once they do, expect attack from all sides. The faster you move the more armies you can muster to fend off attackers.
- Read sign posts to find hidden Scholars that will teach you the Intelligence skill and Teleport spell.
- Pay close attention to your tavern. A lot of of the heroes carry a useful artifact and a few start with useful skill. Keep in mind not to spend all your money just to hire the heroes to get the artifacts and go bankrupt!
Spoilers from Charles Cone, the playtester:
1. Take gold from chests instead of experience.
2. Pay attention to signs, events, and tavern rumors! Don't be afraid
to take notes.
3. Pick up creatures from external dwellings, especially sharpshooters,
enchanters, and level seven creatures.
4. Pay attention to your backpack. Give items your main hero is not
presently using to secondary heroes to make room.
5. Be alert for artifacts that can be assembled into combos. ALL
combination artifacts can be found or assembled.
6. Move as quickly as you can with your main hero. Don't loiter, wait
for more troops, etc.
7. Capture the tan ports and island towns as quickly as possible.
8. Free "your" elemental lord as soon as you can. You will eventually
need to free all four.
9. Use a first level secondary hero for the side sharpshooter/enchanter
quest (good choices are logistics and navigation specialists)
10. Sell off excess troops that "join for greater glory" at the
freelancer guild.
11. Use legion artifacts to enhance creature growth.
