If a magician comes to the proper age in the Silver Cities he or she must complete the Trial of Wizards to proove their might and magic. When Inga asked the Wizards to let her enter the trial they laughed at her first, but since there wasn't any rule that wouldn't allow dwarfs to enter, they took her to the trial.
In a hot desert, without a proper army, runes or magic well... Will she be able to claim victory?
Author: Dennis Weiler (Sweden), 28-02-2013 02:43 Haha, nice win! I drank a few beers and thought about my possible mistakes and loaded the game right before I went on that 7th tier-gauntlet right before facing blue.
Played more defensivly and could face Blue hero with 16 rune keepers instead of 11, along with 10 thanes, 14 bears and 40 defenders. Did only appear in battle with thanes, bears, defenders plus 4x1 rune keepers (saving 12 for later) and then the blue hero didn't attack them initially but the thanes, bears and so on.
2 x Armageddon gave me the win, and I could kill those 100 steel golems left in the castle with my 12 Rune keepers along with my "Ignite" and triple Ballista (+ machine ring giving the 4th shot).
Have never played such an interesting and really triggering map, I really had to put in all my effort, thank you!

:)
Thanx for the feedback! I love to make a little more challenging single player maps. :)
Personally, I've used Light Magic to win. The seven tier battle chain is easy that way. I removed every creature from the battle, I've only used my Thunder Thanes. Put them in the corner and use Regeneration on them. If they are in the corner, only 2 enemies will be able to attack them, so you regeneration spell can keep up. Also cast a few Rez spells and you win those battles without any losses. :)
Anyway, if you liked this map, you should check out my other map: Rise of the Banshee Queen. That one is even more fun and maybe even harder. :)

Rise of the Banshee..
Hi!
You're damned right that Light magic should do the trick! :)
I have played Rise of the Banshee Queen a few times. I think I played it on "Hard" and lost the first 2 times until I finally managed to win. Dont know If I changed it to Normal or stayed with Hard though. Really tough as you say :)
Hope you will make more maps since you'rs are some of the best!
Thanks!

thanks
Thanks for your comments. They help me a lot. :)
At the moment I'm working on a stand alone game, so I don't think I'll make a new H5 map in the near future. :(
Author: Dennis Weiler (Sweden), 27-02-2013 19:06 reaaaaally good but also really tough! have played this map twice, never won so far :/
first time was a year ago, dont remember much of that.
this time I chose "hard" setting, usually plays with heroic but knew this was tough.
dont really know what skills will be best, you will get some troups here and there but also loose some.
I had the "luck" to get the week of fire and ice the "last week" and with expert destructive magic, ignite, and armageddon spell I survived through it all with my rune keepers (immune to fire).. but the last day I waited out the blue hero to attack me and so he did.
I had like 10 thunder thanes, 14 bear riders and 11 rune keepers against a huge army.
Managed to beat the blue hero by armageddon spells x 2 BUT with only one remaining rune keeper I couldn't clame the castle that had like "throng" of steel golems left in it.. :(
Any help on this one?
