After many years in the wilderness, Sir Marcus has decided to return to the City of Marcusville. The City was built in his honour following his successful quest to destroy Lucifer. Now he seeks a further challenge.
Author: Cristian Mures (United Kingdom), 25-08-2020 21:39 Like Something is missing ... - The return of Sir Marcus Finished the map in 10 months;interesting start, then, after force field and clone, fights are very easy (I could finish the map faster, but I wanted to see every corner of the map). There is a lot room to improve - this map has potential to be great, but you need more inspiration to add stronger heroes and some quests instead hidding arts in a very random manner.I'll rate this map 7 - because hidden arts (it could be 9)
Author: Colonel Scud (Paris, France), 25-07-2013 22:53 One last thing I downloaded this when I was searching for WOG maps. But "wogifying" ; it may cause this map unplayable.
Author: Colonel Scud (Paris, France), 25-07-2013 22:40 My game analysis First, it's one of the best map I ever played... BUT
I don't know how it is possible to complete this map without using the map editor and the ctrl+f function. Hidden artifacts are a real mess. But even when using the map editor, it's a real pain. Anyway at my first attempt I found this map very addictive so I cheated.
I hate timed map. So I changed the map settings for taking as time as I need and I did well ! As always when I'm cheating, I give the main hero the ability to fly and dimensional door, just in case... but I'm never using them if there is another way. It was a wise decision because there is a last timed quest guard, just before reaching valhala.
The battles are difficult but pretty ingenious with the good spells at the right time.
Verdict : excellent map completed in 18 month instead of the 12 allowed normally. At my opinion, you should'nt hide the artifacts to improve the gameplay of this map and you should remove the timed challenge.
Author: Danny, 14-06-2012 02:12 Too long Hi,
I did enjoyed this map but was too long for my taste, and a bit too linear. Did it in 214 days and a score of 390, lame score since you don't put a grail nor Pink is 100% beatable.
Anyway, my autosave before reaching Valhalla is here:
http://imageshack.us /photo/my-images/411 /autosavegm1.jpg/
Open the page, then Save the page complete and in the associated folder there is a autosavegm1.jpg (1 MB), just rename it to autosave.gm1 and put in %heroes%/games folder and you can inspect it.
9/10
Author: mosh (Israel), 23-08-2011 14:07 Too repetitive Hey man, I like your style but I think this map is too repetitive.
I guess you pasted events and copied them...its not that I don't like to play this style but it was more about finishing and moving on...I didn't finish the map...I couldn't beat the whole pink army so I just decided to stop (its hard to keep your army when they are strong and each one is fire shielded)
But still, it was pretty cool, it seems you have a talent and while your previous level was better, I am looking forward for your next installment...
a 7/10 for me.
Author: HoBo (Wales), 19-08-2011 18:11 Stuck again Hi Andre
A well hidden stack of gold should give you just enough. It can be found not far from the gate.
Author: Andre (South Africa), 19-08-2011 15:39 Stuck again 20k gold needed to go through "that" gate. That I'm supposed to get where? "Straightforwar d" map you say?
Author: Andre (South Africa), 19-08-2011 14:29 My bad "Hidden" artifacts! Back on track :)
Author: Andre (South Africa), 19-08-2011 13:45 I'm stuck I played the map twice and and both occasions I came to a gate which told me that I ran out of time. There is nowhere else to go. The second time around I even tried to go straight for that gate on as short a route as possible. Still no luck. What am I doing wrong?
Author: Sasha (Serbia), 17-08-2011 02:53 Linear There are two parts in this map:
- Look for the hidden artefacts
- Kill the crap out of static enemy Heroes.
