Author: DV, 06-04-2013 17:04 Modified Campaign? After good long years, I just try to replay the campaign and it turns out this version has been slightly modified. E.g. Map 7 : The ambassador sash replaced the angels wings. Unfortunately, this would make it extremely hard to finish map 7 because the ambassador sash is also a quest item where you can exchange it with sphere of permanence. Without the sphere of permanence, fast players would not be able to defeat Tazar as he keeps dispelling your spells. Anyhow, still amazed that some people are still playing it ^_^

but I will try to kill them in another time :P
also I got the hidden rampart, hoping to get the gold dragons to fulfill the quest nearby the council, but it is an empty castle and I also can't carry gold dragons from the last map. does anyone know how to get them? ;)

A great campaign! The first level is my favourite, I liked the eagle eye usage. The toughest fight I had is on level 7 with Tazar and his Black Dragons. I didn't find the Orb of Vunerability anywhere until I spotted it on the last level. So I had to weaken Tazar with surrendering and taking away a bit of his troops every time before taking him down with Velda.
Levels 6 and 7 were a pain for me because of too many castles and heroes I had in control. As of me being a perfectionist player I always had to push the maximum of every hero's abilities and troops to boost him as high as I can to the next level, and I wasted on it very much time.

I took both the inferno and dungeon castles at the beginning of the 2nd month, before they could send any heroes to buy the army within them. Even so, the enemy keeps swarming from the underground with 50 of his 7 level creatures. Also, I don t have enough money and resources to buy the army from his castles (black dragons and archdevils) before he attacks me. I chose all the secondary skills that you advised. Surely there must be a way to deal with him. Maybe I use the wrong strategy or maybe I can defeat him with magic. I hope you can sell me a tip.

The bug can be easily solved, only if dismiss Uzala in Mission 2 and make sure that never hire Voy, Dessa in the later mission. All will be OK.
I've produced one perfect version of this campaign, solving all problems. This is the download. But you've already gone to Mission 7, so continue it, Adrienne and Uzala are just scouts...
I'm playing it without rest and now, in 7. mission, I've got double bug. In second mission I haven't dismissed Uzala, in 6. mission his photo and speciality changed and in my current mission, seventh, his level is 7th again and he doesn't have units from previous map (just like you wrote, Aeris). What is worse - I lost Adrienne. She is replaced by Vey. Well, Vey has navigation but.. Uh..
This is my only problem with this campaign. It's just beautiful. I'm playing HoMM again thanks to this.

In Mission 2, have you dismissed the hero Uzala?
If not, in Mission 6, is Uzala's status mistakenly replaced by the other hero? In Mission 7, does his exp. reduce to a low level just like Mission 2's Uzala?

As for CLK's questions, in Mission 3 I easily defeat the enemy, which has 50 Arch Devils, within 1 month. You waste too much time. If playing freely I'll wait until they go out and that's about two months. This campaign is perfect and no any problem.
To Petr, glad that you love it, I love it too, I know this map very exactly and even 143 Hans C. 831.
Two Gold Dragons are kept in Mission 8's High Countils' backmountain, search carefully.
Mission 7 is not hard too, use titan to defeat Efreet.
As for whole campaign, I finished it fastest in totally about 200 days, Score about 2100+, level Archangel.
As for Eternal Love's single scenario, I know why you don't like Where the Beauty. Great, just enjoy Elovesc and Where the Beauty is another map which in fights and playings doesn't look like Elovesc, I make it in honor of Hans C. the Greatest.

Excellent campaign! Great job. I can't imagine how many months you needed to do all these maps. The story is beautiful too. 10 is not enough to express all my feelings about this campaign. The only map I did not like was the third? from the end where were 4 gods and 4 different surfaces /it was 1 huge island/ because it was easy and predictible. The Eternal Love map is perfect but I would like to have Orb of Vulnerability a little bit earlier because it was extremely hard to fight with efreets without loosing many troops /finaly I did it without any lose-distracting a few efreets who left with archangel clone meanwile ressurecting the army/. with Orb the final part was a piece of cake. I finished the last map in 2 days /you can safe artifact to build the globe just in the first day/. There is the possibility to finish more quickly the campaign waiting 1-2 weeks more and collect army /I have jumped very quickly to the next level with small army and later it was very difficult to fight/. And my Velda was without Exprert Air Magic /my error :) /.

Author: CLK (Kamchatka), 15-05-2011 05:45 Way too hard Extremely well thought-out and designed in every aspect except for the enemies. I beat the first two levels, but only just barely, and relying on loads and loads of pure luck. I'll admit it was a lot of fun though, very rewarding when I finally beat blue.
The third level went pretty well at first. I had all four central towns and was producing 12 golden dragons a week in addition to everything else. When I had built up to 30+ dragons, had town portal, and tons of other creatures to boot, who shows up but a hero with 100 archdevils, 150 efreet sultans, and 300-400 of everything else. I stood no chance, and I had 4 towns to his ONE! The computer clearly cheats. Only one solution to fix this campaign... allow us to turn down the difficulty!!!
