Castle, Necropolis & Fortress starter towns are coastal, and there are some large sandy neutral areas. Factions paired somewhat with natural enemies. Artifacts suited to a faction are generally more available to those factions, but not always easily taken. No town portal or fly.

Apologies - Circles
thanks for info, but not sure what to do about this. There is an updated HotA version that should be ok, if you can run that?

Well... - Circles
The map file's name is AAA, but appears as Circles 2.0 in game's map list, in my case (HotA 1.5.4).

Author: Will (United States), 13-04-2016 19:01 Like Decent map - Circles I like the overall map design but the 'forced pathways'/circl es make it much less strategic and more like a rail shooter with Heroes elements.
I play exclusively against AI so the quest guards make it less challenging and I'm not sure why all of the creature stacks are Level 7.
Diplomacy is king on this map. I had stacks of 50+ level 7 creatures joining me left and right.

Thanks - Circles
Thanks very much for the feedback :) I think you're probably right about the 'forced pathways' - it wasn't my intention to make it that way; I had balancing issues when testing and had to stop certain players having too much of an advantage.
The level 7 creature creature stacks are probably a bit boring; if I ever do an update I'll provide more variety.
And diplomacy is a skill I always forget about; not surprised it's caught out.
