Three clans of pirates fight for glory. They are: the Langstrumpfs (red), the Taka-Tuka traitors (purple), and the Deserters from the imperial fleet (orange). For various deeds such as robbery, battles, destroying certain structures, etc., the clans earn glory points. In order to win any of the clans needs to collect 200 glory points.
Author: meme (pimmelstadt), 27-06-2019 23:02 tedious but brilliant - Pirates L. T. D. Nice new concept indeed. Very well scripted.
I just think finding out how/where you get the most troops and when to not get glory points to save troops, then recruiting stuff everyday for that small edge, dodging ships every step you go, worrying about AI always beng stronger then you...Wait, I was going to say "tedious" but now that I have typed it...This is one of the few maps where the design is actually so well done that the AI is 2x as strong as you at day 3.
You really have to play you A game to compete with the weekly message stating you have less glory even though anything within range of power was destroyed.
In fact, I think you can only win after exploring the map a bit then replaying.
Author: Fiat (Chicago, USA), 01-02-2006 23:35 excellent map Truly original win condition, very fun to play, though difficult. I made much use of autosave but it was well worth it. All three players are well balanced and I love the complexity and detail as in all your maps. Bravo!

Author: AsTRaL (Moscow, Russia), 02-07-2003 18:12 Thank you for the Opinion! Well, I've seen your map. I think we're the only who make such complicated and good projects... :)
By the way: I'm developing Thorland Chronicles2: The Beginning. It will be 10x more interesting for a gamer and 20x more complicated in creating... Interesting in joining me in creation?
Author: AsTRaL (Moscow, Russia), 02-07-2003 18:12 Some asshole gave us 1 point in rating!!! :((((! Some asshole gave us 1 point in rating!!! :((((!

The computer players' turns take EONS, but the map is worth waiting. I was feeling like a real pirate when playing it. Oh, and that Pippi Langstrumpf nostalgia!
