Bottom left player has almost no perks at the start, when bottom right has 5 universities and top right has 5 or more gold mines. Town portal only in one shrine makes it easy for closer players to get huge advantage and block others.
Maybe two entrances to underground and two shrines?

Ultimately it gets easier and the final battles are straightforward. The beginning is very nice, however! The main challenge is actually the red player.
I played blue, full random, impossible and got Fortress with Tazar.

Finished in 104 days on impossible. Purple stayed put until the start of the 4th month as intended, which was shortly after I'd finished clearing out the underground.
Beat him shortly thereafter!

Same, as Delfontes says, Theodorus comes earler, Border was removed by AI.

Author: Delfontes (USA), 07-03-2022 23:56 Interesting Map - Wizard's playground It looks like the quest guards were moved, I got notification that he'd be out on Month 4 but he was wreaking havoc month 2.
Played as Solymr Tower Faction.
I was scrambling around the map avoiding Theodorus and trying to take over the other guys, very very tough map.
With town portal and a few reloads when he attacked me, I took out all the other computers, owned the whole map and with Orb of Vulnerability and berserk on the 90 crystal dragons I was able to win.
Won on Month 4 Week 2 Day 4, ironically 1 week after he was supposed to come out. Quest guards did say they'd open on month 4 day 1 but they weren't actually blocking anything.
Overall Great map! Might need to move the quest guards back, wasn't ready for that massive army week 4 starting the game.
Played on HoTA HD mod btw.

Hi, thanks for feedback.
I tested the map several times and Theodorus never came early. Maybe red player got into purple tent and unlocked him? I double checked and quest guards were in correct place. So Idk if I can fix anything.
Great to hear you had fun! Maybe I should have made him come out sooner anyway! :D

Weird - Wizard's playground
This screenshot shows the quest guard, both sides were the same. You can walk right past it, if you go to the quest it says it'll open on Month 4 week 1 day 1 but you could just walk right by it.
