1) you start on the center of the map and have to choose from 4 different starting towns and plenty of neutral camps. Three of the towns are fixed (Tower, Fortress and Rampart) and the forth one is of the player's fraction.
2) Having no town at the beginning you have to select to which corner you will go and start developing your strategy for towns and creatures.
3) Keep in mind that you will encounter the dwellings of the Crystal, Faerie and Rust dragons (and others as well) but you cannot have them all. :)
I think this kind of setup will give you a plenty of variety and interesting games vs player or the computer.
There are two versions of the map:
1) the computer has a town at the beginning because I doubt that it will go to the corner and grab a town;
2) the other player has exactly the same (mirror) zones. Thus the better one will succeed. :)
The queen was challenging but doable. I will have to try beat it on king difficulty.
