Fly to win. There is no other way to throw off your hated neighbours. But be very careful before you step in one way teleports. Only the very wise will be allowed to return back.

Idk if other factions would have been harder to start with but tower felt pretty good. Hunting down AI didn't take too long and the map felt like it was just the right length. Nothing special but I had fun, thanks for the map!
Author: akrione (thessaloniki,greece), 25-08-2011 19:59 Decent map well...i played it on 200% and it was easy...it was a good map...and without town portal it was more interesting...so far good..BUT after i took 9-11 towns noone could attack me..they COULD only with fly that it could be taken in the tower of hope...so i was secured and i could spend months gathering army from 10 town and win without showing any skills..however good map...balanced easy i would say but interesting and worthy playing...here is my 9..GJ

Not having a town portal is a pain, because cpu's naturally have an advantage over you in macro managing their armies, so the only way to beat them is to out micro-manage them. Defending your castle with anything short of your main hero is just not happening, as towards the middle of the game top cpu players have armies 2-3 times larger than yours, and only your superior heros allows you to win. Anyways, big props to the creator, this map is good enough to be on the official pack and my top 10 pick any day.

Author: Darksmile (Prague - Repy), 30-06-2009 00:12 Like There are clues In the welcome message you can read that only the very wise (i.e. able to learn the highest level spells) will be allowed to return back. Other clues are names of important towns. "Tower of Hope" and "Tower of Fate". Take and keep one of them and build there the Mage Guild Level 5. Well, I understand that the clues should have been probably more palpable.

Its very confusing which way to go I would find a place I can summon a boat but on the other side its just another dead end...

All my maps are created for such enthusiasts. I always try to give human player some time to develop. Well, concerning your suggestion, in my maps I always cancel the Town portal spell. I think it is the most lethal one. Have a nice time with HOMMIII (the best game ever), Darksmile

A good challenge, and an interesting and well developed game. My only suggestion would be to have a book of all earth magic spells behind a row of tents, to eliminate the final slog.
