I am short 2 tents and I'm kinda done, spent about a month searching for how to get underground. Fun til then though.

Every Hut of Magi can direct you to all 4 underground portals using spy-eyes. They also show you the final purple tent. Every continent has a Hut of Magi you can use.

Guess I should have paid more attention, that worked... found the 2 missing tents. Found a bug though, can just Fly/DD past purple hero, take his empty town and wait a week to win without fighting at all. I did reload and fight him, a bit underpowered by then.

You need to take the purple portal. It's next to the Fire Nation capital but you need to visit the purple tent first - it's also next to the Fire Nation capital but it's separated with 4 color-towers - white, blue, red and green symbolizing four different elements. Each color tent for these towers can be found in four different Spirit Worlds underground.
That's because you need to master all four elements to defeat the firelord :-)
