hi Alex, there was a change introduced at some point (in HotA I think) which adds the condition to click on the town hall building in the city and then confirm that you want to build the grail there.

Author: Ja Rite (United States), 17-01-2023 00:04 Like Great Map! - Blaze of Glory I really enjoyed this map, played as the 'gelu' hero with sharpshooters. I think before updates because I got DD scroll off a computer kill, then found the fight for TP and taught other heroes.
Fun map, only suggestion would be to not have basic artifacts as quest items, there are hundreds of items had a full inventory after every fight. I want to be able to just unload all my extra artifacts, and I did after a while but it ignores some of the quests which might be fun to do.

Hello, great too see you've had good time on the map! I understand what you, sometimes it is annoying to keep many artifacts and when you throw them away you might miss them later for the quest hut.
Here's how it is designed to work. At least half of the quest huts are made to be opened by the player "only by chance" in early game. In other words if by luck you manage to hire a hero from the tavern which is required from a seer's hut next to your town you will be rewarded with something to help your tempo and developemnment. Or if you by luck "roll" some of the requested items of the huts in your starting zone, you will again gain slight edge by returning them to the hut. If not, it is not a big deal, there are a lot of huts around the map, the ones with huge rewards usually do not require level 1-2 artifacts anyways, so throwing these won't be affecting much the game outcome.
Nonetheless, a not on the huts is taken, thanks for your input! When I am reworking the huts in the future, I'll definitely be careful not to fill them with low-level item requirements, so players will be able to complete most or all of them in later game as well for fun. Cheers!

No Angelic wings as well. There is only one way to acquire fly spell from a witch's hut, for a price significantly demanding. Imagine, it will take Month 9-10 or so to progress with the requirements.
Looking for your gameplay screenshots and further game-balance suggestions.

Yes you are mostly correct, these spells are known to be game-breaking ones. It's the first version of the map, so I left here and there some of these powerful spells/artifacts. Thanks for sharing, I am always looking for credible opinions what could be improved further!
If I can ask which town you chose and at what point of the game the DD/TP felt too much OP?

I do like those gates that allow only certain class through, I think thats very nice mechanic, that has a lot of potential. Also like layout.
Map is good, would be alot harder without those spells.
I played with Castle, and was interesting until I got town portal :) (already had angel wings and x2 dimension door spell), so yea, became just about chasing enemies.

my suggestion would be, besides getting those spells out.
Because once you get DD, those special class gates become pointless, since you can just skip them.
But my suggestion would be, maybe less paths to different castles, since, you basically know immediately which direction are they in.
Also Rampart, maybe disabling treasury, or at least disabling treasury in 2 out of 4 Rampart castles. Since, it would be way too OP money wise to have 40% every week.
