However, a group of monsters has set up camp at the Pass of the Damned. The strength of this group should allow Tieru about two months of calm before the storm...
Choose the sylve for all factions.
Choose, for each faction, in the table on the left, the heroic mode.
Choose according to your preferences the difficulty (initial resources, number of initial monsters and increase in monster populations). This difficulty is to be adjusted at the bottom right.
There are two versions of this map:
- one in french
- another one in english

I played on hard, not heroic and it was challenging. I was too slow the first try and got swarmed when the enemy factions broke through. the second time I played better and made it in 6 months 3 weeks and two days. A nice challenge with intentionally limited spells. Fantastic. Please when you can, create more like this :). Also thanks for your contributions on the HOMM 7.5 Discord (I am guessing you are the same Francois?)

If you want a challenge map, I suggest you play my map "The revolt of the magicians".
But generally speaking, most of my maps are quite difficult if you play them at heroic level.

You will find here (and in version 1.35 of Heroes 7.5), several of my maps that were created especially for Heroes 7.5.

Who am I? Experienced H3/H4 player, noob to H7.
Difficulty tested: Heroic
Status: Success 1 year + 7 month
Pros:
* BUG-FREE
* Long map on which you will get your hero up to level 140 and give you a lot of gameplay
* The monsters on map leave you the time to develop yourself
* Design is quite nice
Cons:
* The fact you can develop yourself quite easily without being bothered is also sort of a con: the AI will never break the barriers to reach you and it kinds of make this map impossible to lose, you will just have to think a little how figure out how to deal with some "Deadly" neutral mobs that block your way. In fact, as soon as you unblock your way north and claim your first castle, the game is almost won. Sure, the last boss will give you some sweat to beat even with a level 140 hero, but with 7 castles on your own you just have to round the castles a few more weeks and retry until Ivor is outnumbered. Giving 4 or 5 castles to Ivor would definately improve the challenge.
* It would be more fun to add a few more factions than just sylvan
* Maybe a storyline would definately give whipcream on the ice.
Conclusion:
Actually one of the best H7 maps here, despite its cons, however, its main interesting feature is that it's bug free. Seeing how are H7 maps populated, I am considering downing my target to H6, H5 or even H4/H3.

Strategy Heroic - Revolution 3
* Strategy:
* At the beginning, heroes,skills and artifacts that give resources are very useful
* Defence tree is very useful (first strike on defend)
* Entangle + thorns + hunters + druids
* I got the item that casts 1x mirror image per combat to deal with the Deadly opponents
* Diplomacy is quite useless: you will never have the money to recruit. The only useful diplomacy skill is the one that halves recruitment fees from magic menagerie
* The deadly opponents will actually help you be unreachable by other heroes.

Пришлось отбиваться внутри замка. К концу пятого месяца зачистил всех врагов кроме центрального. Потом глянул на его армию, и немного струхнул. Покрутил время, собрал войска и в начале седьмого месяца пошёл в атаку. В чистом поле одолеть врага не смог - он выигрывает инициативу в первом раунде, и наносит большой урон. Пришлось обхитрить - захватить его город, и там уже принять бой.
Получил удовольствие! Спасибо за карту.

This map is not easy and it is true that it is better to start with the southern part. In addition, the combat tracks are often short and the trick is to fight in a castle, protected by the walls, or to return to the snowy part where the combat tracks are often longer.

The first phase of this map is extremely hard, it took me several restarts. After surviving the first wave of deadly heroes, it suddenly becomes easy and due to the long time necessary even somewhat boring.
Anyway, I liked this map, keep on the good work!

When I have tested this map before propose to others players, I've finished the map in 5,5 months, at level 42.
