Author: Roy (UK), 01-08-2015 15:55 Single player - The Dream Not your fault I should have paid more attention to your notes. Human V Human. I am only a single player and soon realised there was no AI opponent. It would be great if you could make it so.
I never tested it with AI as an oponent, but you can try it. Though I fear the AI will be unable to comprehend the 'creature generator' custom object and then it (the creature generator) would be useless to both you and your oponent...
I tried playing with AI oponent and it went just like I thought, AI doesn't understand the scripted custom objects... Conclusion - human vs human is the ONLY way to play it efficiently.
Author: Milos Gajic (Nish, Serbia), 01-08-2015 13:35 Author note: - The Dream There is a message box bug that I could not fix but it does not affect the gameplay, bug is: when a message box should be shown to one player it is shown to both players, but there are just two of the message boxes (one for each player) so they come up just once (twice technicaly) in the game so they shouldn't be a problem.
Few advices:
-Don't remove the artifact you start with because it is one of the identifiers of your hero in order for the scripts to work
-Please set the starting bonus to something other then artifact since your and your opponent's hero may get the same artifact as the starting one and this may (it didn't happen to me) cause script failure.
-Spend your resources carefully, save game before fights with pit fiends and/or paladins if you fight them early in the game (even though they are moderate) and use 'creature generators' objects
-'Creature generators' may be used limited times, after that they generate resources
-Sometimes it takes time when you visit a building for a specific event to happen (you'll notice it certainly) but it is not a big delay between visit and event
