Almost started over when I found out, taht I need wisdom for water walk. I was level 55 and there was almost no creatures on the map except for 4k stacks of lords of thunder. And of course, I visited all wisdom trees...
I will play it once more, I made a lot of mistakes and I want it finish erlier and on higher diff.
Author: Poldi (Poland), 24-04-2011 11:50 well Blue player didint captured mines,colect resources or kill any neutral mob u placed.He also didint bought any army,cities defence was 10 SA and some zelots.If i remember well ther was 2 blue heroes with i gues suposed to move freely,but one stuck pernamently west from central city near mistic garden,second stayed close to the one traped with purple guard.
Orange hero the one from magic castle moving freely,but he didint kill monster in his zone.
But the main problem with ai is he rarely use dispel or cure,insted he summon elementals-.-
Thers a berserk thing yet,imho u should ban it or atlast remove and ban fire magic.
I think very few seasoned player download maps,most of them are fine with Sod or even RoE

I found that 17 out of 21 are allowed to move freely, that is within the areas they are supposed to be. Then their difficulty differs of course.
What do you mean by "Only a true fan still play it"? Du you beleive that all who plays Hoom3 today are all Pro's. You can look on earlier posts on all my maps to find out that the skills of players is very various.
You found it to easy, Others finds to hard. I did set the map difficulty on this map to Hard not Impossible. Also i dont focus so much on the fights i try to look at other things. :)

U put alot of work to made this map,it cloud be grat,but its to easy.
AI dosnt do anything,most Ai heroes dosent move at all.
U are skilled map maker,i will definitely play ur next map,but please bare in mind afther so many years afther h3 was realised only true fan still play it:)

Obviously this map is to hard for you even with all hints given in this forum, I cannot create a map and give away every step a player needs to do to accomplish his/hers goal. If i did? The bonus area you will find in a sub gate located in top northeast area, If you havent been there yet (which seems to be the case) nothing is wrong, visiting the green bonus with Sir Edric gives a spell that Prince Barl just now got his hands on. That is why Sir Edric should collect it. So go there and you will find what you are looking for.

Alright, so I'm finding myself stuck at that point of the game where after surrendering the 3 artifacts (Brimstone Breastplate, Ring of Infinite Gems & the Skull Helmet), I finally reach a small body of water with Quest Guard in the middle. It's pretty obvious one is going to need the Summon Boat spell to continue from here, however I'm at a total loss how to obtain it.
Going through some previous comments posted here, it would appear that the spell is to be gained through the Admiral's Hat, which I'm assuming is the bonus supposedly collected by Sir Edric in the vicinity of the Green Tent. Sadly, at the earlier stages of the game I did not realize that visiting the tent was meant to be the aforementioned bonus, so Prince Barl paid the visit to the Green. Visiting the tent now with Sir Edric accomplishes nothing and hence I'm finding myself stuck in this awkward mid game situation with no way to continue forward.
If that truly is the case, I guess I have no other options but to restart the game anew. Could someone confirm for me if that is the unfortunate case?

I have done some changes on Orrin and posted an updated map. But unfortunately i dont have time right now to test the map, hopefully i have done the right settings on him now (Combination of troops is changed). The map will be available shortly.

That statue you are talking about,, if you look closely you will find that it is a gargoyle, not an angel or a stoned lady. And yes the gargoyle dont holds a scroll and yes, that quest is allready solved. If you cant find it now! i dont know.

There are some hidden/unvisible objects on the map, but there is allways a hint
on what to do (Except in one case, silver tent bonus).
So keep in mind to allways read messages.

Known Issues:
Wog settings allows amongst all Sorceress to grow new ability. After a while she
manage to clone an enemy troop into a friendly troop. This can be a disaster if
there is another enemy troop in that square where the new cloned troop is placed.
The previous troop vanish both visually and from any attacks but will continue to attack.
You cant, as far as i know get rid of this invisible enemy without cheating.
My advise is attack with Sorceress only if there is a free square on each side on the
troop you are attacking. (This is not a map issue, but worth knowing about.)

Solved problems in map:
Later in the game when/if enemy attacks your castles, at first i was forced to purchase
all soldiers in the castles that are going to be attacked. Risk for game hangs else.
I have experienced this especially everytime on "Ancient Palace" [Rampart], which hung
if i didnt purchase all available troops, this could also happen in "East Castle" [Castle].
If buying all the troops of the town before being attacked, the bug didnt appear.
Finally i was forced to block "Ancient Palace" and "East castle" for new invaders.
Think this was the best way to get around the bug, little disappointing though, aspecially
at East Castle as the idea was later on to trying to avoid an hiding enemy.
Hopefully this bug dont appear anywhere else on the map.
I heard other having this issue when making maps.
Later in game when releasing enemies on the map. At two places enemy heroes could meet,
when that happened, they exchanged troops with each other, resulting that the strongest
of the two heroes got the toughest troops. Couple of turns later that hero hung.
Some of the extra bordergates that you may wonder about is put there to hinder two
enemy heroes to meet.
So the wrong mixture of troops in an enemy hero will crash the map. This annoying bug i
have seen on all maps i have been doing.
