also i've cleared everything! and still not found the missing child in the dead forest :(

I found the sylanna's ancient you are talking about, but i can't get to it because of the 2 wolfes infront of it! how do i remove the 2 wolfes so i can get in? I can't attack them.

@ZeuS, in the right of the two group of wolves you may see a sylanna's ancient which sparks green light,there is the new forest for the wolves.
my suggest to kill the elves is to train lots of knight and use the PM to puppet master the red dragon. you can also try the counter spell + empathy combo if you are lucky to get the sorcery.:)

But for the last fight, I think we should have the dragon troops keep growing too, for my fight, I waited 3 weeks and I see the dragon number stays at 140. I accumulated 240 ArchAngels and got the win.

I have completed almost every quest there is except the wolfs quest (can't find the forest for them). It may be that i have too early went trough the gate and killed almost everything there. Anywhere I go, it wont activate the script. My tactic was regeneration and DM spells.
I am also having trouble in killing the dark elves. With meteor shower and implosion insanely strong there is almost no way to win.
Any specific point where I can find new forest for the wolves?

Author: Jonathan (San Francisco, Calif.), 28-05-2009 04:22 Interesting map, but I'm having trouble with some features I have not been able to get into certain areas: the area east of the wolves, the area where the phoenixes can be killed for their feathers, and the pyramid. I solved the quest regarding the supposed witch by killing Zoltan in the graveyard; apparently, this is one of the steps. Then I went to the sanctuary near Heorot and was told to get the phoenix feather, but I can't find a way into that area. Also, I gave the Tome of Dark Magic to the wizard, but got no reward--was this intended?

Sure you have to restart the map after you upgraded the game, I am sorry for the trouble but this is the only way to do it.

console says it cant find the function "TalkBoxForPlay ers". Could this be the same problem as zmeio's below? I did upgrade game to 3.1 but after starting the map..now only Frisian awaits defeating, do i have to restart the map after this all?

You just need to take the potion to the woman, that will compelete the quest.
after you visit the siren you can go to the wizard to let him to teleport you to the desert.

and from your descriptions I guess there are some other maps with MODs in your map folder,sometimes this will cause trouble.So you'd better move the others maps to an other place when you play this map, hope this would be help:)

Just to verify: wizard's tower is on the left when you come out of the castle.
Maybe this will help:
-When i go to the area where phoenixes used to be (feather quest), there are four obelisks on the West and a giant statue of gremlin. and nothing more...
-And i have all secondary quests completed including wolves.
-I see conquer Frisian in primary quests list along with keep Beowulf and the other one alive.

First please make sure that you play this map with the game vision 3.1, however it wont cause big problem if you play it in 3.0, you just cant hire the creatures from some objects.
about the desert, go to the wizard and TOUCH the tower , then you can trigger the quest.

I was playing on Heroic level.
The beginning was challenging enough. But once you get to high level spells of Dark and Light magic and have money to hire enough Arch mages the map becomes an easy walk. The only exceptions are battles with Warlock and the final battle (the last one is very tough).
Probably to make the map more challenging there should be some restrictions on how many Arch mages and other external troops you can hire during a week.

Turned out my in-game profile was somehow majorly screwed up - I reinstalled the whole game, but created the profile with the same name as before, so nothing got fixed. Just delete the current profile you play under and make yourself another one, with a different name. That should do the trick.
