Lots of boring battles with guards and VERY slow growth of own army. In addition very few artificats which makes hero really useless despite high level.

i dont have months to make a map from the basics like that, but modify it took me lamost a month and i bring joy to a lot of people with this map!
TRY to make more multiplayer maps, there isnt much of them ( i mean really good maps....)

I can certainly understand why Vlaad is upset.
Having published 10 extra large maps (6 HOMM2 and 4HOMM4), I can say that making a map, especially an extra large map, takes a LOT of time and effort. If you wanted to make a copy of the map you should at least have contacted the author and asked him. While most of us mapmakers do not copyright our maps it is our intellectual material.
Furthurmore, you will find more personal satisfaction from the challenge of coming up with your own ideas and going through the endless hours of design and playtesting to produce a good map than taking someone elses work and modifying it.
I encourage you to continue mapmaking, but next time don't steal someone elses work.
Author: Vlaad (the author) (Serbia), 13-11-2005 15:41 Unbelievable... "It wasn't easy"?! It took me months to create that map! Fortunatelly, it won the CH map contest, so people will know who made it.
You "don't take credit for doing the map"??? Man, it is YOUR name there, not mine! So no bullshit, please.
If you thought it was better with 6 players, make a map for 6 players!!!
Or if you must change my work, leave it on your computer or send it to your friends, do NOT upload it online!
Author: mad, 10-11-2005 19:44 heh... heh... i dont take credit for doing the map, but i think people wanted to play with other people on this map, not only with computer, i think you did a good jb with this map, but believe me, making it a 6 player map wasnt easy too !!
