Although I beat johnny depp, he stops racing after that so He doesn't open the quest gate after the portal where the pendant of death was. Is this a bug or it supposed to be that way and I should search for another way arround?

I took mirkwood and killed that elf dude, I also killed smaug and found the city "Dwarven treasure" . I'm kind of stuck here, I didn't found Galadriel yet or Dol Gudur. Is there other exit from the labyrinth other than " Dwarwen Treasure" or thet pandora's box gambit?
