Had a bit of trouble with Smaug as I knew I needed the Orb of Invulnerability (otherwise it would be impossible) but could not see it. The artifacts are well hidden along with the secret resource stashes. I found the orb anyway so next stop Moria. Be good if you did a Game of thrones map with similar story and puzzles, I played one recently and with town portal and treasuries it's too easy.

Use 'slow' the first round, move all your units (in as few stacks as possible) to one corner so that all griffins go the same way. Then use berserk each round after and shoot the stacks that are strongest so that the damage is spread equally over the stacks with berserk.
You'll also have to get a bunch of archangels; just the shooters may not suffice. You'll need them later for other fights anyway.

Is the artefact a COMBO artefact? if yes, make sure you got room in all spots of your inventory.
Gloves of speed do not stack, if you're too slow, disband the SLOWEST unit in your army, this will quicken up your armies speed. Hope this helped.

Make Dark lord go to the southern border gate by flaging his dwellings and then retreating outside of his area. He will end the turn very far from his castle. Use Legolas to campure it and teleport your most powerful magic hero there.Run into inner Mordor with both heroes. Close to Barad-dur is a magic shrine, which is actually a seer's hut, and you will learn Berserk. The fight is still tough, so I recomend you fight him when you are in Minas Morgul or when he has left some of his troops behind.

By that time you have another Admiral's Hat. Put that on your main hero and use the portal next to Minath Morgul to go to the place where Gandalf started at the beginning. There are lots of Archangels there who are willing to join you. Use the hat to summon a boat and collect all the Angels. You will have about 37k Archangels. Take care not to add the angels to another hero because the game has a bug with that big number and it will become a negative number and your angels will be lost.

if you use wog to play sod maps, there are chances you won't be able to finish them (unless you use sod mod)
Because wog will convert some artifacts to warlord banners or other, therefore if that artifact was part of some quest, you are screwed.

It was a while ago, but if I remember right in the north eastern half of the map there is a prison, its pretty well hidden, unfortunately i deleted the save. Just look for a pretty well hidden prison. Tricky mountains on that map. Good Luck.

Last combat, i had ~14k AA, 11k Sap, 6k enchanter, 800 Be, 1,1k Titan, ~3k champions, 3k6 Cyclops. But in all combat, i don't use Azure and Black Dragon. About 10 final combat not hard,but the ideas and the way are good. Thanks for creating map :D
