Map became real easy for me once i took the 3 ramparts and beat the 4000 azure dragons as they gave me 90000 of each resources so i brought like 30k dendroids and 30k serpent flies n 30k wyverns. i may try and beat the 7 lots of 9k azures to get the angel wings and finish that way lol.
Real shame on week of the creature's though spoiling the map.

I agree: there are hidden things, ever heard of "V" key for locating artefacts and resources? Who to blame if you want them to pop in your eyes and do not know the hot-keys?
I propose that people who never draw a map restrain from comments as "this maps is ridiculous". Just pass your way if you don't like. Who looks ridiculous, the 100 people who enjoyed the map and discussed it friendly, or the crispy single man who loudly cries in the wind?

Mapmaker hides everything! You can't take a step without first carefully checking around. There are Hundreds of artifacts hidden in the strangest places!
Many things involve a lot of backtracking, tedious movements, waiting. You won't know unless you come to this forum and learn what should have been done earlier. EG right from the start, you have to find the tome of earth magic. But of course there are no hints and you are never told you should find it. The tome is hidden in a weird place where you need to get artifacts later (admiral's hat) to come to a specific place (only 1 place you can summon boat) to get. Then you have to wait 2 weeks for peasants to generate from the hut. (Who will normally employ peasans in his army?). Then you have to take the peasants and the tome and TP back to your castle, give it to your main hero, before you can proceed.
There are hundreds of similarly stupid and useless quests just to waste your time. More than 99% of the time is spent mousing over the map trying to find hidden paths and items. Battles are reasonably challenging, but if you want really tough fights try Way Home or Wayfarer or anything Andrew Tanzi makes.
I'm not a noob. On other mapmakers' maps I have ratings like Archangel and Archdevil. But this map doesn't test your strategic skills or tactical skills. It's just a big, big mess of hidden objects and impossible quests that waste a lot of time.

I got stuck. After defeating slafe there are green dragons (120,59) that are blocking my path to the 2-way monolith. how to beat them?!

First, you must keep 3-4 stacks of dragons alive.
You must stack defensive spells and have a nice amount of archangels. Don't forget to cast Haste.
You must protect your shooters with champions, crusaders, archangels and halberdiers (gryphons are useless in this map).
The dragons will mostly attack the champions, so stack as many defensive spells as you can on them, or you will lose.
Don't forget to stack offensive spells on the shooters.
Try to clone the archangels as much as possible while balancing them with the other useful spells.
When the last 2 stacks are alive, go to the opposite corner of the map and clone archangels every turn to ressurect your army, then kill the dragons. (100 dragons are easy to kill :P )
