Frodo gives the admiral's hat to quest guard but can't pass through the way. Something blocks but there seems nothing. I tried with Aragorn, Faramir and others still can't. What am I missing?

I was stuck at the same place.. By opening the map in the map editor i found out that there's a small lake blocking your way. You have to wear the Admiral's hat and use the 'summon boat' spell. Then get in, and disembark just a few squares south. Then you should be able to continue.

So far it's been related to various artifacts, so it's been avoidable (just reload and don't pick up a certain chest), but now it crashed after I defeat a hero and I can't keep playing. This sucks. Attached crash log. Advice/fix would be appreciated. I installed everything as per instructions in the file.
P.S Several of the artifacts have the incorrect image.

Playing in HotA - Lord of The Rings 3.0
Playing RPG maps (like this) for versions RoE, AB or SoD in WoG or HotA is big mistake and almost shure you will stuck in some points. Remember that HotA is OTHER game rules, not only new creatures and objects!

The savegame doesn't come up in the Complete version (same folder and all).
Any way to work this out? Or is it because I started this in Hota there's no way to load this? Advice appreciated.

Use expert Berserk - Lord of The Rings 3.0
Use expert Berserk from the Fire Tome. Let them approach you and form into a tighter bunch, and then strike 6 or 7 at the same time with Berserk. They will eliminate each other. Killed off the last one with Implosions from the Spellbinder hat.

I almost needed 0 help but I opened the editor for a thing that I didn't found there. After busting my ass for 2 hours I've found the fucking way. The problem was that, after releasing Sam, I always used him to move to Frodo for Item/Army exchange. That way he somehow was unable to move onwards or something. Or I forgot to place on him boots of levitation. Anyway, nice map. I can say I almost have "no ragrets", but I have. I've spent so much fucking time buying from all the dwelings til late in the game. I realized at some point I don't have enough money to buy even 30% of the army. From there I only purchased azzures. The only problem was with Smaug. I had enough to literally crush him from the start, but I was loosing too many AA's. So I started to flag mines, dwelings and take his Azzures. Did it for two weeks and with azures was pretty easy. I remember last boss was easy win with Bersek. Nice map, challanging at some point, but not too much if you read the hints, the story and if you do things right. I've had a look on the comments and I cannot believe people are:
- playing the map on Hota
- playing the map on WOG
- are unable to read or don't know the basics of the game
I'll give this a 10. Congrats to the author.
PS: I've downloaded LoTR v2 or smth but after the first day it seems to be the same thing. Can some1 confirm this?

You can get to Bree by going through the green border guards. To have access through the border guards, you'll need to let Isildur go to the green tent in the first turn.
P.S. Frodo will have to go through there with all the available speed-boosting artifacts. Pay attention to the popup message that shows once a hero stands in front of the first border guard.

At the beginning, instead of let them get defeated, I dismissed both of them. Isildur had the Ring of Life and both had Head of Legion. Will this mean that I won't be able to progress in a later part of the game?
I'm already past the blue border, so I have no desire of restarting the game. However, I don't want to keep going just to get stuck afterwards.

One complaint though - i had to use a cheat code "nwcthereisnosp oon" to give Frodo "Fly" spell, because Aurora Borealis just won't give it for some reason.

The boat is probably blocking your way to the tent. Try scuttle the boat with the spell, and when go for tent with boots of levitation. Also make sure you have enough movement points.

Aragorn had in finale battle 8300 SS, 1100 GD, 800 AA, 70 AD, 600 Ti, 9300 DS, 2800 En.
His skills was 84A, 72D, 81Pm 63K.
(I kept the "Orb of V" during the whole game, otherwise it was to hard to fight against Titans and necro's forces. )
