Der Krieg zwischen Menschen und Damonen wutete schon Jahrzehnte. Das ehemals so paradiesische Land Karnant lag in Trummern und von der einst unbezwingbar gewahnten koniglichen Armee waren nur noch versprengte Kampfer ubrig. Unter Aufbietung ihrer letzten Krafte gelang es den Menschen schlie?lich aber doch noch, die damonischen Heerscharen in deren Festung zuruckzudrangen und den einzigen Zugang zu versperren. Seit damals sind nun bald 100 Jahre ins Land gegangen und das Konigreich hat seinen alten Glanz wiedergewonnen. Nun ist es an der Zeit, das heroische Werk Eurer Vorfahren zu vollenden und die Damonen ein fur alle Mal zu vernichten!

The Demons have outgrown their resources and are advancing to the surface in search of more. They must collect everything they need to support their rapidly growing ranks. Since food is the top item on their list, and since they live only from the flesh of warm blooded creatures, everyone's on their menu. The Elves, under the leadership of Lord Ilistar and very upset with the Humans' apparant lack of concern, have seized the northern town of Northcross. They are demanding that the Humans mobilize their armies to defend The Realm. As the weeks go by, the Demons increase their power and advance their armies.

Into exile you went. Your children were sold into slavery, and your wife is dead. War can do horrible things to civilians.
You ran for days, and after crossing a massive lake, you discovered that the land you ran into was no different than the land you left. Your pursuers might be on chasing you still, so you must keep running, but in order to do that you will have to defeat the warmongers in this area.
Sometimes... fighting is inevitable.

The Undead have plagued your nation for far too long. Your King has sent you, his best knight, to 'fix' this problem. You are told that you must build an army with whatever is available to you, and then crush the undead. You already have one outpost under your control. It is stationed near the ancient forest. You are hoping that the elves and faeries of the forest will let you pass, but you have a feeling that much like the undead, you aren't wanted in these lands. However, your mission to destroy the undead, and bring eternal peace to the land, is still your priority.

Lange Zeit waren die Ruinen verschlossen, und nur ein paar tapfere Abenteurer wagten sich durch geheime Gange in die Tiefen des Schlangenberges vor. Dem Bericht eines Uberlebenden zufolge, lebte in einem riesigen System unterirdischer Kammern, von geheimnissvollen Kristallen erhellt, ein absonderliches Volk mit merkwurdigen Brauchen, aber auch grandiosem Reichtum. Aber es wiedersprache die Pracht ihrer Stadte ihrem brutalen Blutrausch, der selbst vor einheimischen Opfern keinen halt machte. Vom Durst nach Ruhm und Ehre getrieben, verliessen ganze Armeen ihre Stadte, bereit die fremdartigen Nachbarn mit Schwert und Lanze willkommen zu hei?en. Monate vergingen doch es kehrte niemand zuruck.
