Es hei?t, nur ein einziger Pfad fuhrt hinauf auf den Feuerberg, den kein Sterblicher betreten kann. Seid Ihr stark genug fur diesen Krieg?

Goetz erholt sich auf Wiesengrund von seiner letzten Mission gegen den Verruckten Razzak, als ihn eine Depeche des Konigs erreicht: "Gratuliere ihm, das hat er gut gemacht. Er wird sich sicher nicht lange ausruhen wollen, sondern als unser Hauptmann frisch zu neuen Taten aufbrechen. Also habe ich Greifenberg samt Nordlicher Mark meinem lastigen Schwager Siegbert vermacht. Er geht mir doch arg auf die Nerven mit seinem Getue hier. Sicher habt ihr Verstandnis fur die Lage."
Nein, hat Goetz ganz und gar nicht. "Greifenberg ist mein, ich hab's mir verdient", denkt Goetz, "und wenn erst mein Schwert den Konig davon uberzeugen muss, dann soll es so sein."
