For centuries the fiery Crescent Isle have been a unclaimed barren land. All changed when a great seer had a vision, a vision of unprecedented wealth and power. For 300 years a cult of Death Knights had been amassing treasure in a hidden fort on the island.
It soon become clear that whoever claimed this treasure would easily gain control of the entire region. Soon all the factions bordering Crescent Isle were squabbling over who rightfully owned the Crescent. It was inevitable. It was war.
You have returned to a land that appears vaguely familar to you. Then you remember that these lands were once ruled by the centaurs during the time of the Assension Wars. Undead armies would travel south and attack the centaur villages constantly, killing any living creature that they find, so they too should join the ranks of the undead. However, the centaurs formed an alliance with the elves and humans to aid them in eliminating this threat. Eventually they have succeeded in their task, but what was left behind proved more devestation than the undead armies themselves. A plague had destroyed the centaur population. A plague that was carried by the undead themselves as a means for a final retribution.
