One of the grandest geographical landmarks of the ancient world is also home to a variety of races, and cultures. Gracious lords and kings seek defend their kingdoms, as others seek to dominate the entire region. The age of war is upon the kingdoms, and heroes must use every tool at their disposal to win.
As generals depart for the fight, war advisors counsel to check frequently local taverns for clues of mythical items. Legends tell of ancient artifacts and relics of the past, long rumored to be hidden in these lands which may now turn the tides of war.

Eons ago, eight brothers called "the Dragon Princes", sailed away from their homeland, the mythical island of Alran, just before ocean waves consume it along with its vast dragon armies. Centuries have passed and the princes' names have been forgotten, their legacy though remained in the small kingdoms across Irisus Sea. Recently an earthquake shocked Ashan and all temples to the Old Gods of Alran crumbled in ruin, only to reveal staircases to Abyss. More over, sailors report of a great wirlpool that appeared at the center of the ocean, swallowing entire fleets. Sages suggest that doorways to the drowned island have been opened. A war is about to begin for succession to Alran's throne and its lost mythic treasures!

You set out to the ancient mountain of Jormungand to find out if the strange rumors spreading in the southern kingdoms are true. Rumors about frenzied deamons and endless earthquakes.
If they prove to be true, you have to know how Jormungand, one of the three strongest magical sources known on the world, can be tainted with madness, and why the dwarven city built to defend the mountain is so silent in time of need.
This morning you've received a report from your scouts:
"Griffin Empire is on the move, crushing small kingdoms one after another and they are headed our way. They are strong and well organized - perfect military machine. We are heavily outnumbered, without money and resources and we have 3 months to prepare defense before they reach our borders. According to the legend, two items of enormous power were once taken from Nicolai and hidden in remote regions of our land. Since then he's been searching for them. Our best chance is to find them before he does."

These lands have had a long history of war. The five kingdoms inhabiting the lands were always evenly matched and this stoped them from extinguishing each other. This all changed when the Necromancer Deirdre, with the help of the dragons, discovered the evil arts of mind control.She ruled for the past five centuries by controling the people of the four other kingdoms.
The wizards of the green kingdom where the first to break free and seeing that they needed an ally, they started fighting Deirdres control over you. It was not easy. Deirdre was prepaird this time and they had to use all the aincent spell thought by the titans to make you immune, but in the end they succeeded. It left them in a state to fatigued to defend from her horrible revange. She cast a spell so strong it fried their central nevous system. It was a wonder they even suvived. When they woke up, they where not able to remember you and when your people tried to apoach them a fireball incinerated them. But many years has past since that now and you know not what happend to them. All you know is that you have to face Deirdre alone.
The Spider

This territory full of wonders is commonly known as "The Spider" for its particular natural conformation. The borders of six regions, the Spider's legs, meet in the center, the Spider's Head, which is the barycenter of the continent. Each one of these regions is home to a powerful kingdom, always fighting to take domain of this land and to own the wealth of the Spider's Head.
In addition, there's now rumours about some secret treasures lied somewhere in this region, which can garantee the control over the Spider's Head and, consequently, over the other kingdoms.
With such new informations, this may be the occasion for one of the kingdoms to finally prevail.

Aeons ago, eight races existed on a small continent, where the land was divided equally into shares to avoid conflict. However, the Dwarven King and a Human Prince forged an underhanded plot to take over all eight factions for themselves. A terrible war ensued, and many people died. At the end, wizards from all eight kingdoms agreed to seal their lands in separate dimensions in order to prevent further bloodshed. Eventually, the powers used to create the seal were tampered with, and an underground passage suddenly connected the once forgotten neighbors. Now you, as King, must ensure that your people won't be taken advantage of-- by conquering your opponents!

A rumour was spread that The Capitol Amaranthis has been attacked and King Balor had fled in fear. Has the rumour spread rebel factions start to make their moves. Some towns of the Griffin empire at Kingdom of Gaia had already been attacked by Orcs factions. The kingdom of Gaia is full of rebel factions, Orcs, Dark Elves... even the Elves and Alkazaar's mages usually Balor's allies, see the chance to take down the empire if they can defeat Balor before he asks all other 7 kingdoms for help.
